Do you think I should take her to a Hungarian restaurant or will she think thats lame? I have no idea what she likes food wise.

You can ask her. Hungarian food is fatty, spicy so afterward you need a lot of energy to digest it which might blow your future plans for the evening :)

I don'y think you have to take her to a Hungarian restaurant. She may view that as too cliched. Take her for something like Fish & Chips, even Pizza or Pasta. Or if it isn't a formal dinner date you can't go wrong with stuff like Sandwiches, Baguettes, Croissants, etc. Good luck.
